If you're a user of Facebook Messenger I'm sure that you receive this message from Facebook which inform you that Facebook Messenger App For Windows Will be Discontinuing at 3rd March

It seems like Facebook has some plans for the future and these plans maybe include the release of Facebook Messenger for Window Phone and the killing of the app from Windows (Desktop).

All facebook  users have received this message from facebook so they have less than a week to say goodbye to Facebook Messenger and back to using the regular version: facebook.com.
